HARTMANN is taking further steps to meet the ongoing high level of demand for its disinfectant Sterillium®. After increasing production capacities in Hamburg, the company will soon begin producing Sterillium® at KNEIPP, a subsidiary of the HARTMANN GROUP. HARTMANN is taking this step to support medical professionals in their very important work for patients.

Kneipp, a global healthcare company specialized in the manufacture and sale of hygiene, care and lifestyle products, as well as pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements, will now begin the first phase of hand disinfectant gel production at its site in Ochsenfurt/Würzburg, Germany. This additional production capacity will be further expanded over the coming weeks. "The coronavirus is dominating the world and affecting the medical supply situation. Our mission is to support healthcare professionals and patients with infection prevention," explains Britta Fünfstück, CEO of the HARTMANN GROUP. HARTMANN will continue to focus on crucial areas of the healthcare industry, which include clinics, nursing homes, newly established corona centers, system-critical services and doctors' offices. This focus also includes providing supplies to particularly hard hit areas, such as the region surrounding Heinsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia, where the first cases of Covid-19 occurred in Germany. HARTMANN will also support the German Federal Ministry of Health with products for the centralized provision of supplies to medical personnel throughout Germany.
