4th Vivano Congress – Sharing experience to make life easier for patients

Wounds often impair and sometimes even threaten people’s lives. Offering effective solutions for wound healing and thus making life easier for patients has been a long tradition at HARTMANN. Another tradition at HARTMANN is collaboration, which has been in the company’s DNA since Paul Hartmann himself reached out to healthcare professionals in the 1870s to combine his production know-how with their healthcare knowledge. This insight is important in order to strive for continuous improvement of wound care and making it faster and more cost-efficient as well.

Reaching out to healthcare professionals for their know-how is just as important today as it was in the 1870s. The most recent event to meet them was the 4th Vivano Congress from 16th till 18th September 2015 held in Stuttgart. With more than 200 participants from 16 countries it offered a forum for exchanging knowledge and sharing experiences with the HARTMANN Vivano Negative Pressure Wound Therapy system.

To further develop the Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) for the benefit of patients, doctors from different fields of expertise have joined the Vivano Competence Network. They are happy to get in contact with other colleagues interested in NPWT, answering questions and learning from each other.
