Do I need help to perform a self-test?

No. Generally, you should be able to perform the self-test without help. Children under 16 years should be assisted by a parent.

How many test kits do I need for a reliable result?

When you perform the Veroval® self-test as instructed, one test kit is sufficient.

Why is it so important that the doctor makes the final diagnosis?
The self-tests are no substitute for a physician’s diagnosis. They are meant to support your doctor in the detection of health risks and offer early knowledge to important health issues. But with a positive result, with ongoing symptoms or if you are uncertain, you should visit your doctor as soon as possible.
What do “false-negative” results mean?
False-negative results mean that a negative result is falsely shown, although the result in fact is positive.

False-positive results mean that a positive result is falsely shown, although the result in fact is negative.
What do I do when the result is positive?
If the result is positive you should visit your doctor as soon as possible. (Please note: the rapid test “Male fertility” is the only test where positive means: the result is in a normal range)
What do I do if the result is negative, but I still have symptoms?
There are several possible reasons for ongoing symptoms. One may be that the symptoms have another cause than the one you suspect. Another may be that the test result is false-negative. In any case: You should visit your doctor as soon as possible.
